Level 1 (Clear 25 red pegs from 101 total, with only 9 balls - Pro target 450k)
The first design looks like the huge bell-shaped plants in the background, so mostly curves with just ten single pegs.
Attempt #1 - No power ups. Score: 546,780
- I felt pretty comfortable all the way through that one. The points were slow to come at first, but I got them eventually. I could almost certainly have taken a total clearance, but once I got down to my last ball, I resisted the temptation to take what should have been an easy final blue peg, and just took the final red to finish it off.
Level 2 (Clear 25 red pegs from 100 total, with only 9 balls - Pro target 475k)
The second design looks like the twisted vines that support the plants in the background, so again it's mostly curves, with 14 single pegs this time.
Attempt #1 - No power ups. Score: 309,490
- Clearing the red pegs was not so much of a problem as earning the points for the pro target. I got down to the last red peg at about 250k or so, and while I was taking catches off the purple peg, I ran out of balls.
Attempt #2 - No power ups. Score: 361,610
- Only one red peg left again, but I was struggling to find a way to get to it.
Attempt #3 - No power ups. Score: 429,590
- Several red pegs left this time, but my best score yet. I didn't get the catches time time. I'll give it one more go.
Attempt #4 - No power ups. Score: 490,750
- My score is still improving. I was actually over the pro target that time, but I had two red pegs left at the end. I'm tempted to give it another go, but I don't think I'm going to get it without a power up so I'll add a laser ball.
Attempt #5 - Laser Ball. Score: 927,680
- It was easy enough with a laser ball. It took a couple of balls to get through to the yellow peg, but once I'd used the laser ball, finishing off was very straightforward.
Level 3 (Clear 30 red pegs from 102 total, with only 9 balls - Pro target 425k)
The third design is mostly solid curves, following lines in the picture, with a view lines of single round pegs.
Attempt #1 - No power ups. Score: 331,590
- The angles on this one seem tougher than the previous level. I'll give it one more go, but I suspect I'll be adding a laser ball after that.
Attempt #2 - No power ups. Score: 231,190
- Not particularly close that time. This will definitely need a laser ball.
Attempt #3 - Laser Ball. Score: 875,780
- Again, much easier with the laser ball. I was going for the clearance, and I might have got it as I only had a couple of blue pegs left, and both seemed quite catchable, but it wasn't worth the risk with just one ball left.
Level 4 (Clear 30 red pegs from 107 total, with only 9 balls - Pro target 400k)
The fourth design is a curved pattern consisting of three lines of round pegs at the bottom, then a pattern of diamond-shaped pegs singly and in lines of three above that, and then three more lines of round pegs on top.
Attempt #1 - No power ups. Score: 198,760
- This is another level that doesn't seem particularly likely without a power up, so I'll go straight for a laser ball.
Attempt #2 - Laser Ball. Score: 471,600
- I was down to one ball and two red pegs, but neither of them seemed to offer a likely catch. I tried to clear a blue peg to give me a better shot at one of them, but missed the catch of that.
Attempt #3 - Laser Ball. Score: 696,010
- The catches worked a lot better that time. I nearly made it all the way to a total clearance, but I left one blue peg behind.
Level 5 (Clear 35 red pegs from 114 total, with only 9 balls - Pro target 500k)
The fifth and final design looks like two of the pink plants, one slightly taller than the other, and 15 single round pegs above and between them.
Attempt #1 - No power ups. Score: 505,420
- I just managed to scrape through this one at the first attempt with no power ups. I had to make quite a few catches with the last ball to bump my score up sufficiently and clear a path through to the final red peg, and most of these were played for.
Level 6 (Clear 40 red pegs from 100 total, with only 7 balls - Pro target 675k)
The same design as level 2, but with 15 more red pegs, two less balls, and 200k on the pro target.
Attempt #1 - Laser Ball. Score: 636,470
- I used up nearly all of my balls trying to get through to the yellow peg. I still managed to score quite well with the laser ball, but I was left with too many red pegs afterwards and not enough balls to deal with them all.
Attempt #2 - Laser Ball. Score: 809,450
- I got to the yellow peg with the first ball and that made a big difference. Once the laser ball has cleared most of the central pegs out, the layout becomes a lot more friendly towards catching. I stretched the game out to 33 shots, but a lot of those were just practicing after I had the win guaranteed.
Level 7 (Score 550k with 35 red pegs and 67 blue, with only 7 balls - Pro target 675k)
The same design as level 3, but with 5 more red pegs, two less balls, 250k on the pro target, but just a points total to aim at.
Attempt #1 - Laser Ball. Score: 735,340
- It took a couple of balls to get through to the yellow peg, but I did well with the laser ball, and the bonuses kept coming with regularity. I had to make a couple if extra shots at the end to get my score up to the pro target, but it wasn't too hard.
Level 8 (Clear 45 red pegs from 101 total, with only 7 balls - Pro target 825k)
The same design as level 1, but with 20 more red pegs, two less balls and 375k on the pro target.
Attempt #1 - Laser Ball. Score: 442,470
- It took way too many balls to get through to the yellow peg, so after the laser ball had gone I was down to my last ball with way too many red pegs left to get and indeed points left to score.
Attempt #2 - Laser Ball. Score: 480,520
- I didn't take quite as many balls to get through to the yellow peg that time, but at about 4 or 5 it was still too many. I still had 6 or 7 red pegs left at the end.
Attempt #3 - Laser Ball. Score: 775,210
- Again, it took way too many balls to get through to the yellow peg. I made a better job of it this time, though, despite this, getting a much better score and only leaving a couple of red pegs.
Attempt #4 - Laser Ball. Score: 883,760
- It only took a couple of balls to get to the yellow peg, and the laser ball scored better as a result. Plus I had more balls in hand afterwards and I was able to make quite a few catches, and I made a few decent distance bonuses.
Level 9 (Clear ALL pegs - 35 red and 72 blue, with only 8 balls - Pro target 525k)
The same design as level 4, but with 5 more red pegs, one less ball, 125k on the pro target and a total clearance now required.
Attempt #1 - Laser Ball. Score: 997,360
- I got the yellow peg straightaway, and got a reasonable laser ball. I still had a lot of work to do afterwards though, but my catching was working well and managed to pick them all off without running out of balls.
Level 10 (Clear ALL pegs - 30 red and 84 blue, with only 8 balls - Pro target 775k)
The same design as level 5, but with 5 less red pegs, one less ball, 275k on the pro target and a total clearance now required.
Attempt #1 - Laser Ball. Score: 1,155,940
- It took a few shots to get to the yellow peg, but the laser ball scored very well and took out a lot of pegs. I was still left with quite a daunting number of pegs to remove, but my catching is on form today, apparently, and I went through carefully picking them all off. Bread and butter to a single peg bucket catching specialist like me!
